How to get to Jasná:
The resort Jasná can be found in Liptov valley in central Slovakia and is part of the protected area of National park Nízke Tatry. From the north, you can get to Jasná through Liptovský Mikuláš and Demänovská valley, from the south through the city of Brezno. From the resort Gothal in Liptovská Osada, it will take approximately 50 minutes by car.

The largest ski center in Slovakia spans the area of two regions, Liptov and Horehronie. The resort offers 50 kilometers of maintained slopes, 27 lifts, and modern snow system guaranteeing snow during five months of the year and nighttime skiing.
The slopes in Slovak Alps, as many call this resort, are divided into five areas and those are Záhradky, Jasná, Otupné, Srdiečko and Kosodrevina. The number of slopes will be appreciated especially by more experienced skiers. The ideal slope for beginners in Jasná is Biela Púť, where you can learn to ski or snowboard under the supervision of professionals.
There are three children’s parks in Jasná - Lúčky, Biela Púť and Krupová, available for families with children. The youngest ones can learn to ski here over a couple of days or have a great time sledding.
Adrenalin lovers will also be entertained in this vast complex. When there is enough natural snow, the resort offers the best freeride conditions in Slovakia in twelve freeride zones. The mightier will prefer steep chutes on the north side of Chopok, while beginners will appreciate the powder planes in the south.
The landmark of the resort is the mountain Chopok, with its north and south side connected. On the second highest peak of Nízke Tatry, there is a beautiful restaurant with a spacious terrace. We recommend resting there during skiing while enjoying the rays of mountain sun and savoring wonderful food. The local specialty is herb tea and „Buchta Chopok“.
In addition to winter fun, the resort can be fully enjoyed in the summer. Jasná offers many trails for hiking and trekking with different levels of difficulty. You can go to Ďumbier, from Chopok to Poľana saddle or Demänovské saddle. A unique experience is also a trip by lift to the ridge of Nízke Tatry or a walk around Vrbické tarn.
Do you love cycling trips? No problem! In Demänová outlet, you can rent an e-bike and discover the beauty of Liptov on an electro bike. The more adventurous will enjoy downhill mountain go-carts with altitude change of 662 meters, during which you can enjoy beautiful panoramic view.
Jasná offers a lot of activities for the little ones. At a chairlift station in Priehyba, there is a carousel with a playground, slide and a sandbox. In Krupová, they can have fun on a jumping castle, which is free for the resort visitors. A favorite attraction, not only for children, is bungee trampoline, which can also be found in Priehyba.
In addition, the entire family can play the game Dragonpark Chopok. It is a playful trip by the chairlifts, where in each station, you will find different tasks. A friendly dragon Demián, who is the forest guard protecting the treasures of the entire Demänovská valley, will guide you throughout the game.
After a full day in Jasná, relax will be welcome. You can fully enjoy it in Gothal resort with unique Water world with three pools. Your children can use the children’s pool with nice water temperature of 34 °C and you can choose between a generous 25-meter swimming pool (the only one of its kind in the area) with temperature of approximately 27 °C and relaxation pool, which, in addition to warm 35 °C, offers a few other attractions. Three types of saunas (steam, Finnish, sanarium) are also available as well as infrared sauna, solarium, floating – Dead Sea simulation, Jacuzzi, massages, various cosmetic treatments and relaxing deck chairs.
