1. Trail to Žiar with beautiful view

If you feel like waking up in the morning, put on hiking boots and go into nature, you will like this moderate trail with ascend to Žiar.

Trail in detail:

Ascend to Žiar begins by a simple crossing of Žiar directly in Liptovská Osada. On this trail you can enjoy the view over mountain range of Low Tatras - Veľká Chochuľa, Skalka, Veľká hoľa and Latiborská hoľa and Veľká Fatra -  Rakytov, Okrúhla, Čierny kameň, Malý Zvolen. During the trip you will also have the chance to see the whole village of Liptovská Osada and Gothal resort.

• Maximum height above sea level - 729 m

 2. Trail through Donovaly using cable car

Donovaly are just steps away from Liptovská Osada and offer many nice sceneries, which would be a shame not to see in person.

Trail in short:

Liptovská Osada – crossing through Donovaly – Veľký Zvolen – Malý Zvolen – Končitá – Nižná Revúca 

Trail in detail:

At the beginning of the trail it is necessary to get to Donovaly – either by car or we can get you there by shuttle bus or by bus (based on a number of participants). Take a cable car Telemix from Donovaly and get to Nová Hoľa.

From Nová Hoľa you will slowly ascend to Veľký Zvolen – followed by wavy terrain to Malý Zvolen and light ascend to Končitá.

From Končita you will only keep on descending to Nižné Liptovské Revúce or to Liptovská Osada – Biele, which is 4 km from Gothal resort.

• Ascend - around 680 m (including the cable car)
• Maximum height above sea level - 1 403 m

 3. Trail with a break at Limba cottage

Getting cold drink or hot tea in winter after a good trail is a moment you will remember.  

Trail in short:

Liptovská Osada – Liptovská Revúca – Teplô lodge – Limba cottage under Rakytov

Trail in detail:

At first you need to get to Liptovské Revúce - either by car or we can get you there by shuttle bus or by bus (based on a number of participants).

Then, just go to a trail which begins at the lodge, from where you will continue through Teplô valley. At the end of the valley follow the trail up to a tourist cottage Limba.

• Distance - 4,8 km
• Ascend - 585m
• Maximum height above sea level - 1 210 m
• Expected duration of trail - around 4:00 hrs.

 4. Trail to the highest waterfall in Low Tatras

If you feel like seeing something unique, then a trail to the highest waterfall in Low Tatras – Brankovský waterfall with height of 55 metres is your choice.

Liptovská Osada – Ružomberok Podsuchá - Brankovský waterfall

Trail in detail:

Before the start of the trail it is necessary to get to Podsuchá which is 6km away - either by car or we can get you there by shuttle bus or by bus (based on a number of participants).

A trail starts here, along the main road (Ružomberok – Banská Bystrica). Get to a bike route, which will guide you to the waterfall.  

• Distance – from Podsuchá to Brankovský waterfall = 2 km + 6 km from Liptovská Osada
• Ascend – 250 m
• Maximum height above sea level - 775 m
• Expected duration of trail – from Podsuchá around 0:30 hrs., from Gothal around 1:45 hod.
